A health check shows signals that height and weight cannot measure.
Repeat the test and see whether your markers move over time.
A BMI value can feel reassuring or worrying and still leave the same questions unanswered. These markers add measurable context.

These are the boundaries the World Health Organization uses for adults, and the ones the calculator classifies with. A value close to a boundary says less than it looks like it does: BMI does not tell muscle from fat.
BMI says nothing about where on the body the fat sits. Waist divided by height is a simple companion to it, with 0.5 the usual reference point. The field is optional and does not affect the BMI value.
BMI does not tell muscle from fat and does not show where the fat sits. It also says nothing about blood sugar, blood fats, liver, kidneys, thyroid or nutrient status. Two people with the same BMI can have completely different blood results.
The BMI calculator is intended for adults and does not replace medical advice.
