What is included?
White blood cells are part of the immune system. This test counts them together; a differential count gives separate results for the different cell types.
Urate, or uric acid, forms when the body breaks down substances from its own cells and food. Its blood level is used in the assessment of gout and other specific clinical questions.
MCHC is the average concentration of haemoglobin within red blood cells. It adds information to the cell size and the amount of haemoglobin per cell.
The red blood cell count measures how many red cells are present in the blood. It is read with haemoglobin, which carries oxygen, and haematocrit, the proportion of blood occupied by red cells.
Calcium is required for bones, muscle contraction, nerve function, and blood clotting. The value is tightly regulated by parathyroid glands, vitamin D, and kidneys.
Creatinine is produced during normal muscle activity and removed from the blood by the kidneys. Its level helps estimate kidney filtering, with muscle mass and other factors taken into account.
Magnesium supports many chemical reactions and helps muscles, nerves and the heart function. The blood level does not measure all of the magnesium stored in the body.
Urea is formed in the liver from protein breakdown and is excreted by the kidneys. The value is affected by protein intake, hydration, and kidney function.
Who it's for
People with diabetes, high blood pressure or kidney disease in the family, or an earlier raised creatinine.
Creatinine and cystatin C are two separate ways to estimate how well the kidneys filter the blood. The kidneys also control salts and minerals. Long-standing kidney disease can cause anaemia, which is why blood count is included. A full kidney check also needs a urine test for protein and a blood pressure reading. Those are not part of this panel.

How it works
Order online
Pay 1,095 kr. No referral needed.
Give a sample
Visit a clinic once your referral is ready. Follow your preparation instructions and check the clinic’s opening hours and booking arrangements.

The price is 1,095 kr. It covers the 19 results listed, the blood sample and a written note on your results. Extra visits, tests and consultations cost extra.
Wait until your referral is ready, then walk in to a participating collection site during its opening hours. Bring photo ID. Your account shows the preparation for your tests. Yes. Your personal dashboard lets you follow your values over time. The doctor's review helps you understand what is worth following up and when another test could be useful.
Blood tests can contribute to a diagnosis. Interpretation combines symptoms, medical history and sometimes further investigations. Your result review explains appropriate follow-up.
